Developing well-rounded leaders is a critical focus for this distinguished prominent nationwide medical group. Practicing physicians who are regarded as high potentials, as well as physicians and operational leaders who recently transitioned into leadership roles, must gain deep understanding of the varying levels of skills leaders must demonstrate to ensure organizational wellness, growth, and the highest standards in health care.
Working in partnership with the organization, Wilson Learning designed custom onboarding sessions to enable physicians and operational leaders to develop skills and capabilities around versatility, communication, influence, and collaboration. The process afforded many networking opportunities, further contributing to enhanced collaboration.
Development sessions have been implemented both in-person, using large conference rooms that accommodate groups as large as 175 people, and virtually during the pandemic, with engagement and interactivity enhanced by leveraging tools such as Mentimeter and annotation.
The organization’s Director of Leadership Development and Wellness shared the following:
- “We have had a very productive and effective relationship with Wilson Learning for over a decade. Wilson Learning has invested many hours learning about our structure, culture, and norms. As a result, when they present, the faculty appear credible and ‘in the know,’ which creates an environment of safety that propels learning.”
- “The quality of work has been outstanding. Wilson Learning is often my team’s benchmark by which I evaluate other vendors. And I can genuinely say that they remain the top ranked within my team.”
- “All of our senior leaders have completed Building Relationship Versatility™, and their support of the content is one of the reasons that we have continuously offered this program for so many years.”
- “Globally, I think Wilson Learning has excelled in really investing the time to get to know us as an organization and then working with us to bring forward relevant content in a way that works for us.”
